If i had HIV would it show?

The last time i had was in 08 and im starting to feel weird pains and stomach pains. If i had HIV would any of the symptoms show by now? Contact lens question: Do I need toric or can I get away with regular contact lenses??[Prescription included]?

You are borderline for needing toric lenses. The general rule of thumb is .75 cyl or more. You only exceed that by .25 in the right eye which isn't much. What you need to consider is this- do they improve your vision enough to make it worth giving up the comfort of spherical lenses? Toric lenses are not only more expensive but also less comfortable. My suggestion would be to try the toric lenses for a couple of weeks (your eye dr. should give you a free trial pair) and also ask for a trial pair of spherical . That way you can see the difference between the two and decide if torics will be worth the extra expense and decreased comfort. And this I know for sure!! Good luck.

How much beer/liquor for a wedding reception?

We're having no more than 256 guests. We're having a fruity drink called a$$ crackers that uses vodka, and 3 of the big jugs of vodka will make 18 gallons of the drink. We're also having whiskey and coke, and planning on getting a case (6 big jugs) of whiskey and about 12-20 2 liters of coke. This will make roughly 16 gallons of whiskey and coke. We are currently planning on roughly 2 kegs of beer (not sure if we're doing kegs, or buying an equal amount of cans- the nearest place that sells kegs of the beer we want is over an hour away, though we might have another option to get the kegs). Does this sound about right for this amount of people?

Hey I think you look great! No need to worry about how much weight you've put on. I reckon maybe 10 kgs? but in a good way. I suggest stop worrying about weight and just enjoy eating enough so you get enough fuel to exercise. And find a sport/exercise you enjoy doing and just roll with that. Weight is immaterial, enjoying life to the fullest is the most important thing you can do.

Which Branch and What Job in the Military should I pick...?

I want to be a firefighter in civilian life probably in California after i serve in the military. After reading many forums and talking to recruiters, the USAF is next-to impossible to get a guarenteed job as a firefighter and the US Army is the same way and to my research both get next-to-no action of fires they have to put out. Also in California the certificates you get in the DoD arent recognized (at least in CA) for fire departments in the city. So... my question is what is great job path in the military where I can serve my country learn discipline, expand my knowledge and pick up some sort of degree like a ociates in fire science and maybe get training of some sort that pertains to firefighting(not necessarily firefighting itself). i dont know if medic would be a good choice in the Army or if Infantry would be a waste of time. Need help, misbehaving child causing a mental breakdown?

My daughter, who is 5 today, is becoming a problem child. (Her father has ADHD; perhaps she inherited hyperactivity.) The last few months she has been misbehaving more and more. She does not listen to anything anyone says, she will not obey, pick up, stop whining, be quiet or settle down, and she will not stop destroying things (the latest stunt is cutting up - with her safety scissors! - her fabric-covered Disney Princess lounge chair). I have tried everything - rewards, time out, yelling, being patient and understanding, and yes, I have tried . Two-thirds of the time she is sweet and loving, but a third of the time she is destructive, incorrigible, reckless and impossible. Someone please tell me what to do. Granted, the last few months I have been going through a divorce with her father - but it is amicable, we BOTH show her our love for her, and NOTHING is an excuse for this kind of behavior. There are phone answer lines as well, see if one is in your area--they are often run by the hospital or the group (like Kaiser); still think you have to go into the center, but it would still be fairly easy from a physical standpoint.

Should I take a lawyer?

I recently got caught up in a pub scuffle with an exchange of blows between me and another, I would've have happily walked away but the other guy wanted to press charges. I was not arrested on the night but gave my name to the door staff and today the police have called wanting me to go to the station tomorrow to be formerly arrested and interviewed, should I take a lawyer with me? The Policeman was amicable and labelled it as just a 'chat' to get my side of the story. Sorry hon but its not quite there yet. You're chapters for one are way too short. Most chapters are many pages long instead of a few paragraphs. Your writing isn't horrible, I'll give you that, but the story is very bland and cliche. Like someone said, its Twilight minus the vampires(i think...). Thirteen years old is also way too young to be "in love". If your characters must fall in love, make them older. 16, 17,18...something like that. I think you could go two ways in your writing "career" so to speak. You could write fanfictions for things like Twilight so you can exersize your writing, but don't have to make up a story plot, or you could make up some simple, short story plots. I don't think you're quite ready to write books yet, but keep working at it!

Why is my dvd burner burning so slow?

I just switched from a 8x speed burner to a 32x speed burner. When burning a dvd, the encoding part takes about the same amount of time (1-2 hours). When I put the video image on a blank dvd, the 8x burner takes about 20 minutes. But the problem is that the 32x burner takes up to 6 hours and cannot understand why. I am using the right blank dvd's (for the 8x burner i used Verbatim 1x-8x dvd+r and for the 32x burner i use Sony 1x-16x dvd+r). I had someone install this for me but cannot give me a legit answer of what's going on. I want to know how to speed up the burning. I am ok with the encoding part. I am still using the same software roxio and dvd shrink and it should not be the problem because i used it before eventhough nero was recently installed. I also had my virus protection on but i did it before with 8x speed burner. When I burn a dvd i set the speed to 16x to match the speed of my blank dvd.

I did go up to my room angry, but I didn't slam the door. So then today girls from my cl were annoyed I wasn't there last night, and that wasn't even my fault, and all I did was tell my stepmom about what they said, and then she got mad at me and we had another argument. How to tell my ex I hate her?

I recently parted ways with my ex. We hadn't been dating, but she has dragged me along saying things like "I don't know what the future holds for us", and in my opinion is BS talk that someone says so that they don't have to commit to you. She claims I am wrong and that I have no business being mad at her. Well it seems to me that you have every right to be upset with your mother. Some advice, no one not even your mother can do anything to you that you don't allow or make you do anything you don't want to. First, maybe you felt obligated because you live in your mother's home and didn't want to stir up anything that will cause your living situation to be strained or cause you to have to get out right at this moment. That is unfortunately a by product of living in someone else home. Second, you are allowed to have plans and enjoy yourself in those plans. Next time when you have plans turn off your phones until you have ended your evening. What do these nightmares mean?

I've had two nightmares for the past two nights now about my daughter. I have a 5 year old daughter and a 3 year old son, and I don't seem to be having them about my son. We have joint custody and he's going to his country to let his family see them for a few months, which is ok since I've been there three times and loved it every time. I had the first nightmare and in it she was molested, and I grabbed some sort of stick and beat the man to a pulp. In the second one, she seems to be chasing after her father crying hysterically because he's leaving her alone in a place where no people are and she wants to be with her daddy instead of alone, abandoned. I am already having anxiety about them going, but know my former father in law is a great person and so are my former in laws. I just keep having nightmares concerning her, and that's just not like me. I'm not one to have nightmares and keep going over them, but these two are bothering the mess out of me. Any ideas?

Importing limewire songs to itunes help?!?

Ok, so ive had itunes and limewire for a few years now and ive never ever had any problems with any of them. i was always able to just click add file to library or add folder to library and my limewire songs would add without a problem. So like last month my itunes went kind of mad and wouldnt open etc, but it managed to fix itself and i have to restore all of the songs one by one, so i did what i usually did in my limewire and saved the songs that needed to be put back onto my intunes and they successfully went onto itunes. So when i went into my limewire folder there were was no notice of the songs anywhere! then i went onto my doents and there were all of my songs individually in folders! wtf? so i had to put the songs back onto limewire one by one and now theyre off intunes! what the hel? :( and ive tried endlessly to fix this! any ideas?:(

Help choosing SUV/minivan?

We have a 20-month old daughter and are expecting again in May. We also have a 2-year yellow lab who is truly a part of the family. Here is what we are looking for: An SUV or Minivan (preferable SUV) with captain seats in the second row and an open, carpeted area between the captain seats in the second row so that the dog can just walk through to back seat. My neighbor has a 4 stroke Yamaha dirt bike. They didnt have any regular fuel, so they ran 2 stroke fuel with oil mixed in it. Now that they want to put regular fuel in, its tought to start and will run for a few seconds and then cuts off. I have taken the carb apart and cleaned it completely out. I'm 17. My brother is 19 and he recently got caught by my parents smoking weed in our house. He went to University of Colorado Boulder for his freshmen year of college and he did very poorly with his grades. I already knew before my parents caught him that he was smoking weed. My parents found a bunch of weed and alcohol in his bedroom and my dad kicked him out of the house for the night and then they let him come home but then today my dad found another pipe in my brothers bedroom and he kicked him out again. My brother has been suffering from depression because of a really bad break up with his ex girlfriend. I feel like im in the middle of all of this and i dont know what to do anymore. I want to be there for my brother cause im really all he has right now..he is staying at my aunts house right now. My parents are hurting, im hurting, and so is my brother. I dont think him living at my house will help anyone or anything...but then again i dont think that my parents paying for him to have an apartment by himself where he can smoke weed all day would be good either. I have tried several times to get them to eat. I moisten puppy chow and mash it up with broth from the food. And they won't eat it. I have tried separating them from the mom for awhile still they don't want to eat. This is the mom's first litter and she is very protected of them and doesn't want to leave them for very long. I don't know what else I can do to get them to eat. The puppies have already been sold. And I wanted to know if this is normal that they don't want to eat yet. The last litter my other female had; the puppies were eating at 4 and 5 weeks of age and the new owners came and got them when they were 6 weeks old. But these puppies are totally different. They just don't want to eat the food. Any help on how to get them to eat will be greatly appreciated. I'm 13 and haven't started my period yet. I have had discharge for about 6-12 months now. ENGINE CLICKING NOISE, HELP???!!!?

I have a 1994 Camaro with a 3.4 liter V6. Since i've owned the car i've noticed a clicking noise coming from the engine that clicks consistently with the rpms. I believe it's either something to do with the valves or maybe exhaust. When i change the oil i add the engine restore additive and the clicking stops for about the first 20 minutes after the oil change and then is back to stay.
