Do I need a dual midi cable to connect my casio ctk 900 to my midi interface?

I bought a midi cable online which has a usb port attached. I think I need one of those double midi cables though i.e. (with 2 sets of midi in and out plugs). I dont see how else I can connect my keyboard to my interface because they both have midi in and out ports. Is this right?
