Good pieces for a 1st tenor to listen to?

Bocelli maybe? I listen to Pavarotti frequently but since he was so experienced and great it's hard to relate to his singing style at the moment. Also good warmups for my voice and ways to practice? I'm in my high school choir as a freshman (serious about choir, singing for four years) but I don't have a voice coach yet. Also ways to keep my mouth from drying up so fast? I try to drink lots of water during my cles and stuff but my mouth/throat dry up really fast. Thanks for your answers in advance.
