Miscarriage or period??

im on yaz (and switching to yasmin) but i started what i think was my period a week early (started on monday... period isnt supposed to start until today) and im still bleeding and its still heavy and clotty.. my period is never this heavy and never lasts this long. do you think i could have gotten pregnant and not realized it? i have been cramping on and off.
