What should I do about this mother /daughter relationship?

only one time have I felt that my mom hung out with me and I wish she did but she doesn't realize that she doesn't hang out with me. she thinks that seeing me during the day at home is the same as having a relationship as mom and daughter. I want to be like in gilmore girls where they are best friends but my mom thinks that is crazy to have a daughter be best friends with her. I mean doesn't let me do anything teens do liek watching that show cause she thinks that the show is just crazy and fake. I love it and she doesn't get it,. she doesn't think that I know when rory and her mom get into relationship that it will go in my mind and I will think it is good to be in bed together and have second thoughts with other men. what do I do to be close to my mom?
